Actually not much.  We're running gigabit networking with some computers on the network still running Win2K.  A lot of the new technologies don't affect the majority of the network.</description>

Blade storage servers with several terabytes(If you have a small business, not necessary)

1000MPBS Lan Speed (would require semi- high end computers, though)

All the same OS (Vista, XP, etc.  Vista and XP together don't communicate very well when it comes to networking)</description>
